CRATES, SLEEP & COMFORT | YOUR PUPPY WILL COME WITH A SNUGGLE PUPPY & CRATE PAD
Why We Recommend It: A basic wire crate gets the task done but you may want a more elevated crate such as the Diggs crate for your space.. Both provide a safe, secure, easy-to-clean space.
What You Should Skip: We skip fabric crates for puppies because they can be chewed, soiled, and are difficult to properly sanitize.

TRAINING ESSENTIALS | Your puppy will come with a custom collar and dragline. If your puppy is staying for training it will also come with a handsfree leash and training pouch.
Why We Recommend It:
What You Should Skip: We do not recommend the use of harnesses or retractable leashes. Your puppy is capable of learning to walk politely on a loose leash with training and effort on your part.

A training apron keeps your puppy-training essentials right where you need them. Keep training treats, potty bags, and a favorite toy for redirection within quick reach, so you can reward good choices or redirect unwanted behavior the moment it happens. With puppies, timing is everything.
TOYS, CHEWS & ENRICHMENT | Your puppy will come home with a Busy Buddy Jack in size small. We recommend that you buy one for your existing dog too!
Why We Recommend It: Toys that my dogs love and continue to play with generation after generation, decade after decade.
What You Should Skip: Only buy the jack- the other shapes come apart easily! We rarely buy Kong toys, our dogs tend to be too smart for them and get bored with them.
Do not buy the other shapes… they come apart easily and pose as risk of chocking or blockage

GROOMING & COAT CARE | Your puppy will come home with a Pupwell grooming kit. If I were getting a new puppy I would not skip purchasing any of these items! Grooming is a lifelong activity that you will need to be able to maintain and your puppy will need daily care to manage.
