WE ARE OFTEN ASKED, “WHAT SHOULD I FEED MY PUPPY? WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?”

We formerly fed our dogs a raw diet but understood that many families struggled with balancing their dog’s diet once home and were unable to maintain their puppy on a raw diet.  Far too many popular brands of dog food are regularly recalled causing serious health issues to a great number of family pets. This led us to pawTree. We were so impressed by the quality of the food that our dogs not only enjoyed eating but also flourished on.  We have made it our focus to protect the health and future, while maintaining the integrity, of the Australian Labradoodle Breed and to offer our families healthy, gorgeous, and sweet-tempered puppies that will bring doodle love and silly laughter to their home. We know that nutrition is an integral part of that equation.

Many of the ingredients in commercial pet food today can actually cause our pets to have a shorter life span due to sub-par ingredients. Ingredients that cause stress on kidney and liver function, allergies, obesity, or overall poor health include; wheat, corn, and soy. By-products such as chicken heads, duck bills, fish heads, chicken and turkey feet, bones can also be included in our pet foods! Chemical additives such as BHA and BHT are known carcinogens, and Ethoxyquin is used to stabilize rubber, and these can be found in our dog’s food! These chemicals are added to provide a longer shelf life. Food can be stored on a shelf or in a warehouse for months, or even years.
